Description:
María de Aragón (1396-1445), daughter of Fernando el de Antequera, king of Aragon, and of Leonor de Alburquerque; she is the sister of Leonor, Queen of Portugal; first wife of John II (1420). Diego de Valencia mentions her in her dezir in praise of the seven sons of Fernando de Antequera; he refers to her as "Mary the greatest" (PN1-514).
