Name: Beatriz de Avellaneda

Description:

Beatriz de Avellaneda y Cisneros is the daughter of the Comendador of Ocaña of the Order of Santiago, Ruy Gómez de Avellaneda, Lord of Gumiel, and niece of Sancho de Rojas, Archbishop of Toledo. She married Diego Gómez de Sandoval y Rojas, appointed  marshal and adelantado of Castilla by the infant Fernando de Antequera. She died in 1436 and was buried, together with her husband, in the Monastery of La Aguilera. (Guardia Salvetti, José Luis de la (2004), "Los Sandoval.
